Lois Patton Obituary

Lois E. Patton, 91 years old, passed away May 13, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents, Adelbert and Inez Steffen, her late husband William F. Patton, son William E. Patton, as well as her sister Janet Boles and brother Albert Steffen. She is survived by her son and his wife Stephen and Susan Patton, her three grandchildren, Matthew Patton, Laura Patton, and Sara Antaya and Sara's daughter Eleanor Antaya.

She and Bill raised two children in Portland CT and she was an active member of the Portland Lutheran Church. The church was a big part of her life as a number of her close friends were members of the church. Later in her life, as her kids moved away, she fulfilled a lifelong ambition and became a hairdresser in which she worked for many good years. After she and her husband retired, they moved to Glastonbury and she found a love for Bridge. She joined the Hartford Bridge Club and spent most of her time playing. As she got older, medical conditions prohibited her from playing, and she missed this the most.

There will be a private ceremony for immediate family only to celebrate her life.

She was my cousin and a very nice person. I have lost track of her and so My wife Laurie and I tried to look her up. She had a warm lovely smile. Blessings to her Family

So sorry to learn of the passing of Lois. She and Bill were my neighbors on Willow Green Lane many years ago. She was a very sweet lady. My sincere sympathy to her family.
