Renee Bottomley Obituary



Renee Marie (Gaudet) Bottomley, age 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Bickford Health Care Center in Windsor Locks. She was born May 6, 1925 in Hartford to the late Ethel (Lamont) and Zoel Gaudet. She will be remembered by her children, Linda Bottomley of Enfield, Michael Bottomley of Syracuse, NY, Walter Bottomley and his wife Debbie of East Longmeadow, MA, Lillian Bottomley of Broad Brook, Anne Bottomley of Enfield, John Bottomley of Enfield, Philip Bottomley of Enfield, and Ethel Chisnall and her husband Mark of Suffield. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica, Eric, Patrick, Brooke, Hayden, and Brittany. She is lovingly missed by the dogs Friday, Cooper, Katie, and Marco. She is predeceased by her husband Richard, her sister June Whalen and brother William Gaudet. Per her request, services will not be held and there are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

Lil and The Bottomley family,
We are so sorry for your loss of Mom. I will always remember her kindness and humor. I will miss taking care of her when she came to the hospital, our toast to St Patricks day with green jello by her bedside. She was a very special lady and we will miss her dearly.
