Stephen Adams Obituary
Stephen Paul Adams, 62, of East Hartford, husband of Maria (DaCosta) Adams, died Wednesday, October 2, 2014 at home. Born June 4, 1952 in Hartford, son of the late Joseph Adams and Norma (Brown) Kelly, he was raised in Glastonbury and had lived in East Hartford for the past 27 years. Prior to his retirement he was a Sergeant for the Hartford Police Department. Stephen was an avid collector of antiques and coins. He is survived by two brothers and their wives, Jay and Linda Adams, James and Debra Adams all of Glastonbury, his nieces and nephews, Jason, Jeremy and Jenna Adams, Robert Wickham and Kristi Adams Lucey, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Silvia and Henry Coito, a niece Felicity and mother-in-law Maria DaCosta all of Enfield, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Serafin and Josie Costa, nephew Nick Costa and niece Vanessa Costa all of Rocky Hill, brother-in-law Tony Costa of Portugal, sister-in-law Nela Boudreau of New Hartford and a very close friend Denise Whalen of Glastonbury. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Monday Oct. 6 from 6-8pm. Funeral and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
