Steven Tine Obituary

Steven R. Tine, 45, beloved husband of Adriana (Campisi) Tine, of South Windsor, died Thursday, (September 18, 2003) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Hartford on October 29, 1957, son of Paul and Gaetana (Tarascio) Tine of Newington, he had lived in Newington and Windsor before moving to South Windsor three years ago. He was employed by Environmental Services of South Windsor and prior to that was the owner and operator of A.C. Petersen Farms Family Restaurant, formerly of Simsbury. Besides his wife and parents he leaves a daughter, Geena Louise Tine; a son, Justin Tine; Adriana's children, Angela, Christopher, Hilary, Michael, Carla and Rachel Russo; a grandson, Jeremiah King; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Susan Tine of Newington, Michael and Cheryl Tine in Vermont and David and Linda Tine of South Windsor; a sister, Cynthia Tine of East Hartford and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may gather, Monday, 9 a.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., in St. Margaret Mary Church, 80 Hayes Road, South Windsor. Burial will be in West Meadow Cemetery, Newington. His family will receive friends, Sunday, 2-5 p.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an Education Fund for Geena Tine, c/o Sovereign Bank, 1765 Ellington Road, South Windsor, 06074.

I am so sorry for your loss. My memory of Steven will always remain as the gorgeous older brother of my childhood friend, Cindy.
