I worked with Sylvia at Huntsville Hospital. She was always nice to her co-workers and her patients. I can here her singing now. Her smile was infectious! There was not a bad bone in her body. She was a very graceful lady. I did not know Sylvia had passed until today when I bumped into another nurse friend of mine at a store. She told me about Sylvia's passing. Sylvia, rest in peace. The journey is over. I know you must have fought a tough battle. But Heaven has to be overjoyed with your presence now. I love you. Rest in peace my friend.

My beautiful aunt was the reason I wanted to be a Registered nurse, just like her . I am deeply saddened by her death, she is gone too soon. Her singing and star quality personality will always stay in my heart she could have out done Diana Ross any day. I am happy that she is with God now no more suffering.

My beautiful sister Sylvia was a bright and shining star in our family. Her smiling face, contageous laughter, melodious singing, passionate caring and fashonable presentation are a few of the things I'll miss about her. Yet in her battle with illness she has taught me how a Christian should face death; always trusting, never doubting or complaining, while anticipating the coming of the Lord. I'm praying especially for the comfort, healing and strength of Woody, Nina & Brandon. RIP my dear sister! Love - Gil
