Timothy Machholz Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected and sudden death of Tim on Saturday, June 30, 2018, while he was doing what he loved, out on the lake with his good friend Andy. Tim was born on February 9, 1973 in Hartford, son of Fred Machholz and Barbara (Berube) Machholz. Tim attended school in Bloomfield where he grew up and graduated from Suffield High School with the Class of 1991. Tim took over his father's landscaping business and loved to create landscape designs. In 2005, he started his own business, Connecticut Dumpsters, which grew over the years. In early 2017, he decided to take a job at Aero Gear in Windsor, where he was employed at the time of his death. Tim was an avid pool player and was a captain of the APA 9 Ball League, he was a NASCAR fan, and looked forward to his vacations in St. Maarten. Tim loved hanging out on Congamond Lake with his friends and family and taking his Harley Davidson out every chance he got. Tim leaves behind his loving parents, Frederick Machholz and Barbara (Berube) Machholz of Spring Hill, FL and West Suffield; his sister, Karen M. Aafedt and her husband Dan of Vernon; his brother, Fred Machholz and his spouse Bobbi Jo of Daphne, AL; his significant other Tara Sadoski and her daughters, Victoria and Elizabeth all of Suffield; his three beloved nieces, Taylor, Lindsey, and Haley Machholz; his three beloved nephews, Riley, Clayton, and Dylan Aafedt all of Vernon; four aunts, Emily Lauridsen and her significant other, Jack Alderman of West Suffield, Peg Crowley of Guilford, NH, Judy Machholz of Lexington, KY, and Carol B. Caruso of Windsor; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Barbara and Arthur Berube; his paternal grandparents, Fred and May Machholz; four uncles, Robert Machholz, Paul Crowley, Ernie Caruso, and Albert Lauridsen; a cousin, Joey Caruso. His family will receive friends on Friday, July 6, 4-8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Southwick Volunteer Ambulance/Fire Department, 15 Depot St., Southwick, MA 01077. For online condolences please visit, www.carmonfuneralhome.com.

It is hard to believe that you have been gone from us for one year. St. Maarten was not the same last year and will never be again. We miss you, but hold onto the fond memories we shared and the great times we had. Heaven also gained another angel in January, Papa G. Hopefully you two can start a little poker tournament, Im sure youll find many players. Keep watching over us as we wait until the day when we will see each other again.

Barbara and Fred,
We were devastated to hear about Tim. When I met him in SXM it was evident how much he enjoyed life. He had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips.
We will keep you and your family in our prayers and ask God to ease your pain.

Fondly, Pamela and Fred Guarino

I will miss you Bro! I know we drifted over the years but we still kept in touch. It was alway nice hearing your voice and I'm very greatful we spoke just before your departure. You will always have a place in my heart bro and you will aways be remembered. I looked up to you as we grew and I was always amazed watching you play pool; we won a lot of beers on those tables at the Pigs Eye. I'm thankful for being a part of your life. I had one of the best days with you when we all went to Dover in the camper to watch the races. We always had such a great time...you will be missed my friend. God bless brother!

I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with Tim at AeroGear. I've only known him for a short couple of months, but enjoyed working with him. The more I got to know him, the more I enjoyed his company and humor. I will miss him there as I know many others at work will too. He was a nice guy to work with and was fun to talk with.
May God's love comfort & heal you in your time of sorry. And memories of Tim help you to keep him alive in your hearts always. Peace, ~SAM~

Barbara, Fred, Tara, Andy & Family - There are never the right words to say at a time like this. Please know that Tim was loved dearly and going to St. Maarten will never be the same. As much as I am filled with such great sorrow at his loss, the memories and fun times we shared in the most beautiful place on earth will never be forgotten. Tim was one of the most caring, easy going, and fun loving people I have ever met. Through him I had the pleasure of also meeting many of his extended family and friends who have the same wonderful qualities. I am sure we will see each other again. Until then watch over us, give Ray Minelli a big hug and kiss for me and rest easy sweet Tim. May God wrap his merciful arms around the family you have left and shine a light through the darkness of their grief. You will always be in my heart and prayers.

What a senseless loss.. Timmy had a gentle soul and I'm really going to miss him. I have a lifetime of great memories of him, from playing poker to when he'd stop by for a random visit.

Aunt Barbara, Uncle Bub, Karen, Feddie and the rest of your families, I'm sorry he's gone. His great smile will be missed by so many.

I can't believe you are gone. I will forever laugh about the night you and John dug a Mountain Bike path in several feet of snow behind my condo so we could all take turns riding my mountain bike through the gauntlet. You always had a smile on your face and made us laugh and enjoy life. You did your job in this world by making it a better place. RIP my friend. Love and peace to your family, loved ones, and friends.

Barb, Fred and family,

Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. Our deepest sympathy to you at this time of sorrow. Timmy was too young to depart from his loved ones. God bless Timmy and keep him in His tender care and love for all eternity."
