Veronica Marshall Obituary

Veronica (Hannon) Marshall, 95, of Rocky Hill, formerly of Newington, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Osterby, VI, followed by the late James Marshall. Born and raised in Providence, RI, daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Hannon, she was a longtime Newington resident and was dedicated to raising her four children. Veronica spent a wonderful 40 years enjoying Sarasota, FL where she golfed and enjoyed social gatherings with many friends. Above all, she adored time with her grandchildren. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she leaves her two daughters, Deborah Perkoski and her husband Ed, and Elizabeth Pike and her husband Stephen, both of Newington, 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She also leaves her close friend Edith Hatfield and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sons, Peter and Robert Osterby, her granddaughter, Amanda Osterby, and her seven siblings. Her funeral services will be private with Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington.
