Vincent Basile Obituary
Vincent Joseph Basile, 16, of Wethersfield, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017. He was the beloved son of Vincent Basile of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and Lorena (Frusciante) Basile of Wethersfield. Born in Hartford, Vincent lived in Wethersfield and was a junior at Wethersfield High School. He loved all kinds of animals. A leftie, he was a brilliant out-of-the box thinker, and always needed to understand everything. Vincent adored the precious times hanging out with his friends, just fooling around and being silly. He was loved by all and will be so deeply missed. He also leaves his sister Paige Basile and her son Carson of St. Augustine, FL; his maternal grandparents, Norma and Daniel Frusciante of Wethersfield and his great grandmother, "Nona" Elsa Esposito of Hartford; his paternal grandparents, Sebastian Basile of Manchester and Sherry Hannon of Cromwell, and their spouses. As well as his aunts and uncles, Vanessa Frusciante, Daniel Frusciante, Jr., Richard Basile, Shirley LaRosa, Sarah Basile and Kristin Basile, and a large extended family. A place will be missing in the hearts of so many dear friends, especially David, Jason, Nick, Anthony, Evan, Tasha, Matt, Bobby, Keegan, Brianna, Nick, and Taylor. Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of His Life on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington. He will be laid to rest in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 7, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Newington Memorial. Lorena and loved ones of Vincent, I had just met Lorena at Effies this past week, sharing my daughters f/b page with her, the kindness you showed my elderly Mother waiting on us and then knowing such a sweet person would lose her son, when I had just met and as she spoke of her children her face lit up and a big smile came over her face, it breaks my heart for you and please know I am sending prayers of strength and comfort and hope the love of your family and friends will somehow ease the unbearable sorrow and allow the embrace of God to carry you.
