Vicki, I'm sorry for your loss. Randy is going to be deeply missed. He was a big factor in my life and career as a Captain. I worked with him as a Chief Engineer and pilot. He was my sons first Captain he ran into. Now he is a chief engineer following in my footsteps. I do wanted to see him one last time. But God called him home to make him whole again. May you and your family be wrapped in the healing hands of God in this time of sorrow. Randy will be yelling 6 On 6 Off from the heavens. Rest easy old friend. We will all see you some day.
Thanks for everything

Randy was an awesome person & river man to work with. I had the best chance a young captain could have working with him. He was my first steady pilot when I moved up to captain. We became so close I felt as if I was one of his kids. When going off watch and headed to my room I always hollered up and told him night dad and he would always respond night son. We always stayed in touch after he left the boat and still called each other the same. You will be greatly missed Randy "dad" fly high. Thoughts & Prayers for the family, friends, co workers!

I brought donuts to Randy's boat back in the late 90's. He called me Donut Man for the next 25 years. He was one of my favorite captains. I will miss him.
