Mom, your wings were ready, but our hearts were not!
Josephine "Jo" Marie Werlinger of Bemidji, Minnesota passed away on May 2nd, 2024, at the age of 85 years old. Jo was born on March 11th, 1939, in Kinsman, OH, the daughter of John and Martha (Sevon) Melvin. She grew up in Ohio and moved to Sacramento, CA where she graduated from high school. She married William "Sonny" Werlinger January 11th, 1959, in Sacramento, CA. Jo worked as Bookkeeper for Summit Properties in Vacaville, California until she retired. Jo loved spending time with family and friends, quilting, and traveling.
Jo is survived by her 2 children, Michael (Sandy) Werlinger of Wolf Creek, MT, Terri (Marvin) Bannor of Bemidji, MN, 4 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, sister Janice (Paul) McMillan.
She was preceded in death by: Her parents, husband, Sonny Werlinger; and her brother Lawrence "Larry" Melvin.
As per Jo and Sonny's wishes, no services will be held. A private family graveside memorial will be held for both, at a later date.
