Annalee Porter Obituary


ANNALEE FAY MANNON PORTER, 85, of Salt Rock, WV, passed away August 8, 2025. She was born October 10, 1939, in West Hamlin, WV, daughter of the late James Arnold Mannon and Wynonna Virginia Barnett Mannon. She was also preceded in death by her husband George Lionel Porter, son James Lionel Porter, granddaughter Tabitha Renee Townson, sister Susie Vargo and son-in-law Timothy Allen Kitchen.
She is survived by five children Connie Ann Sloan of Salt Rock, Theresa Renee Johnson (James) of Huntington, Rhonda Gay Kitchen of Barboursville, Robert Allen Porter (Sherrie) of Barboursville, and Lisa Dawn Porter (Mike Cooper) of Huntington; five sisters Nina Hanna, Dottie Simpkins, Loretta Gail Cooper, Linda Blevins, and Debbie Copley; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor James Jobe. Burial followed at Porter Cemetery, Salt Rock. Visitation was from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

I´m so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Ann at Chiron in Huntington West Virginia. She was one of my very favorite people there. She ran her Dept so well. She was so nice and so fun. She was always smiling. I am very sorry to hear this.
