Jim and his MG were the subjects for my 'news photography' class in Journalism. He raced around corners at Huntington's Ritter Park and I 'caught the action' with am old Speed Graphix camera. Sent this 8x10 to him within last few years and he asked Steve to put it up in his room at the care facility. Cool.

Uncle. No one can ever take away all you gave to me. I learned everything I know about my natural family from you. I miss being able to call you up with a question that comes to mind. There will always be a place in my heart reserved just for you. I can only thank you by how I choose to live. Your sense of humor was a joy and all your stories. I hope I can remember them always. The perseverance you demonstrated to develop a relationship with me is unparalleled. Thank you for your service to your country, your family, and to me! Always, Jamie

For me, there are too many memories of my friendship with Jim, which started when I pledged Teke at the beginning of my freshman year at Marshall. At the beginning of my senior year the two of us moved into an apartment located in the alley behind the Teke House, which he named the 421 Club--even having business cards printed up. His MG fit under the front 'awning,' off the alley's pavement. When he called my current home in Colorado, and my wife answered, he would ask "is this the 421 Club?" I will miss those calls.

We talked often from the time we met and lived in the same room at the Teke house. We were very close for most of my life and had many adventures and vacations together. The pics were mini reunion at my house in Cocoa Beach and a FB game at Marshall.
