Keith Ramsaw Obituary

KEITH ALAN RAMSAW, a son of West Virginia and beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend, was called home to meet His Lord on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. He had bravely battled multiple health issues since 2009.
Keith was born March 10, 1956 in Holden, WV to the late Francis and Eugene Ramsaw, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his husband, Wayne Thomas Rose, with whom Keith has called Huntington home since 2010. He is also survived by his brothers, Nate and Donnie; his sister Sandra Jones; and many cherished cousins, nieces and nephews.
Keith graduated from Logan High School and attended Marshall University. He served as a medic in the US Air Force. He retired from the Army Technical and Evaluation Command in 2010. While living in Washington, DC, he was a member of Washington's motorcycle club, The Highwaymen TNT.
Keith loved life's simple pleasures: dinners in the country with Wayne, their late friend Mitch Gibson and friends, and walks with his miniature Dachshund, Maggie.
He and Wayne were founding members of Grace Christian Fellowship.
Keith and Wayne extend their deepest love and thanks, first and foremost, to Neala Jackman of Chesapeake, VA, for her courage and compassion in donating a kidney to him and giving him nearly 10 more beautiful years of life.
Arrangements are entrusted to Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington. A private graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Gardens, Chapmanville, WV with Pastor Tim Dixon of Grace Christian Fellowship officiating.
Online condolences may be sent to www.chapmans-mortuary.com. For those who would like to honor Mr. Ramsaw's memory, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to Grace Christian Fellowship, 530 Roby Road, Huntington, WV 25705, or to a charity of the giver's choice.
On a Personal Note:
Keith, I have never known a more gentle and loving soul. "Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand."
