RUTH WALLS Obituary





MRS. RUTH IMOGENE WALLS, 85, of Hurricane, W.Va., passed away July 3, 2016, at Midland Meadows Assisted Living in Ona, W.Va. She was born in Hurricane on Sept 18, 1930, a daughter of the late Howard Wilson Duke and Velva Smallridge Duke. She was also preceded in death by her three sisters, Elva Fizer, Mildred Sergent and Donna Faye Conard. She is survived by her husband of nearly 68 years, James E. Walls; her son Rodney (Diane) Walls of Bristol, Tenn.; daughters Debra (Steve) Caldwell and Darla (Keith) Garren, all of Hurricane; three grandsons, Stephen Caldwell II, Joshua Garren and Justin Garren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, Hurricane, with Rev. Tony Garren officiating. Entombment will be in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane.
