Eternal Time
by Ron Lybarger
A Life does not like to be bottled and preserved for later.
A classroom is left empty, yet the chairs are all full;
denizens of the room are thirsting for knowledge,
keys to success and tools for tomorrow,
while the Teacher has left the room,
the school,
the world.
What to do..
Language changes over time, with subtle nuances
to inflect, conjugate and transcribe, so too humanity.
Each student, knowledge to bear, gained in the classroom
is a capsule of Time, hoping to be of use,
put in motion towards the Knowledge of Truth
so that seamlessly the Dialogue speaks...
whispers in the hallways...
echoes in the alleyways...
A cross roads...
North to South to East to West
Reverberating mirages of the past to light in the minds of youth
A Teacher's Time is eternal...
