Aaron was not only a compassionate and dedicated physician, but he also loved his family deeply. His children were always his first love and he tended to their needs throughout his entire life and career. The kind of love he demonstrated to family and patients is what made him so special, and a role model for all. God bless him. Rest in peace.

He was a gentle and compassionate man, the doctor we wish all doctors could be. He will be sorely missed, professionally and personally.

I have great memories of working alongside with Dr Perlman at BHM.
He was always friendly, approachable and very collegial and great
soft personality that gave patients instant trust in him as a physician.
He was a special physician to all those he cared for, a true example
for us all. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I learned of Dr. Perlman's death as I was leaving town. He was an excellent doctor. I kept going to Dr. Perlman, when the younger physicians recommended that I should change. He knew his medicines. After each diagnostic tests, he would call to inform me of my results.
Patients don't get this attention now.
I will truly, truly miss my doctor Perlman.

I worked for Dr. Perlman for several years. He was the kindest, most sincere and frinedly doctor I know. He saved my daughter's life when she was so ill. I know he was so loved by his patients. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.

I spoke at length with Aaron for the first time in sixty years a few weeks ago. He was the same warm and friendly guy I knew in college.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time.
