Dear Gail:
We have not spoken in quite some time, but memories of your fmaily are always with me and mine. I was excited to read of Daniel's Ferrari experience and his pursuit of a racing career. I am deeply sorry to have read about his accident. Our prayers are with your family. If we can help in any way please contact us.

I made a mistake by not getting to know Daniel. At the time it seemed right, but now I'm really kicking myself for it. I pushed him and the woman he shared his life with away, and words cant even express the great regret in my heart. Let my mistake be a lesson to all.... anger will only bring up ugly emotions and get you nowhere. I knew him for ashort while, but i will NEVER forget Daniel.

Sgt. Cain,
My prayers are with you and your family. As I reflect on our many conversations at work, I remember the love and admiration that was obvious to everyone whenever you spoke of Daniel. May your heart be filled with warm memories as you reflect on all that made Daniel Extraordinary! With deepest sympathy....

I deeply regret not being able to attend the viewing or burial. I feel your pain. The worst thing for a human being to endure is to outlive one of your children. I know how much love and pride you had for Daniel. Love, Hugs, Kisses and Tears for you and Gail.

While I haven't seen Daniel since he was a little boy, it appears he grew into quite a nice young man. While I know he is in a wonderful place it is so hard to understand why. My prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Rick & Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Being a parent also, I can feel your pain. As once said, "The people who are playing it totally safe are never going to have either the fun or the reward of the people who decide to take some risk, stick out, do it differently." Knowing he's your son, I'm sure he set a marvelous example to others and was a leader among men. All my prayers are with you.

I cannot tell you how much Daniel meant to our family and how much he will be missed. While he was pretty laid back, he still had a presence about him. His smile and his eyes would melt you. His abilities were phenominal and he was always willing to pass that on and to jump in and help with whatever you needed. He had some faults, but pretty minor. He's a son a parent could be proud of.
Remember we are always close!!
