Judy May Obituary

MAY, Judy, age 74 of Pelham, passed away on Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, at Harton Regional Health System in Tullahoma. She was born in Franklin County on July 4, 1943, to the late Willie Winton and Louella Crabtree Tucker. Judy was a devoted homemaker and caregiver. A devout Christian, she loved church and singing. Judy will be remembered for her love for her family and as one who spent her life giving to anyone in need. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest R. May; son, Scotty Marshall May; brothers, Charlie, Jean, Elbert, Jimmy, Carvon, and Kenneth Tucker; and sisters, Gertrude Patrice, Vivian Rollins, and Grace Wolford. Judy is survived by her sons, Ernie Lee May and Tim May, both of Tullahoma; daughters, Judy (Nathan) Rickett of Manchester, and Christina Figueroa of Corpus Christi, Texas; brother, Ben Tucker of Estill Springs; sister, Evelyn Tucker of Manchester; nine grandchildren, Brooke Mann, Jonathan Mann, Alivia Rickett, Sarah Rickett, Eric Anthony Figueroa, and Jose Carlos Figueroa; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, at 5 p.m. in the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Bolin officiating.
