Roger Dean Hoff

1936 - 2017

HOFF, Roger, age 80 slipped away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017 with loving arms around him. He was born in Dixon, Ill. After attending Monterey Language School, he served as an interpreter during the Korean War. After the service, he graduated from San Jose State. He spent his working career in the computer business in Southern California. When he retired he found his dream property. Roger loved living at the lake where he enjoyed wildlife, going for walks and the beauty of the flora and fauna. He volunteered doing taxes for AARP Tax Aide for over 10 years. He especially enjoyed meeting and helping the people of Franklin County with their taxes. He leaves behind family members in Southern California and his broken hearted wife, Cheryle.
