Chad Warrick Obituary
Chad Allen Warrick
Chad was a very loving son, and he was a very outgoing young man who lived life to the fullest. Chad was a brick mason and worked three years with Brian and Shannon Lane and crew of Lane Masonry. They took him under their wing and taught him the trade. He was a hard worker and was very proud of the work he did.
Chad was a great artist. He loved to draw, skateboard, snowboard and ride his motorcycle. He loved music and playing the guitar.
Chad leaves his mother, Wendy Swint, of Lake Stevens, Washington; and his birth father, Darren Warrick, of Idaho; his girlfriend and best friend, Kayla Kuhlman, whom he saved in the accident; her parents, Ron and Stacy; and her sister, Cara and Joe and Grandma Bev. He also leaves Uncle Randy (Lin) Whitney, of Vancouver, Washington; cousins, Brian, Nici, Melody and Casey; and Uncle Jim Whitney, of Lake Stevens; Grandpa Keith Warrick, Aunt Deanne, and other relatives; David, Johnny, Stephanie, Jackie, Steve and Tyler Warrick. He also leaves his very special friends, Tracy Nelson, David Pitzer, Josh and his parents, Jeff and Darlene Maple. Dustin, Cassie, Valarie and their mother, Serena Coleman. Richard D., Mikie D., Cindy D. and Carrie, Deb, Rod, Cody, and Carly Waters, Kyle, Monica and Ryan.
Special thanks to Rod, Chuck, and Conrad Baty, Brad Olson, Rich Olson, Valarie Hopkins, Julianna and Romone, and Deanne and Keith Warrick. Extra special thanks to Lorrie Bunney, (Kenny), Aaron and Amber and Corina.
Chad meets in heaven his Grandma and Grandpa Swint, Grandpa Whitney and Grandma Warrick, Aunt Di Di, and Uncles Jeff and Doug.
A celebration of Chad's life will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, July 22, at Lyons Hall in Forest Park, 802 Mukilteo Boulevard, Everett.
Any donations can be made at any Washington Mutual Bank in Chad's name.
The family would also like to thank the people at the accident scene and would like anyone with photos or video of the incident to contact the newspaper.

My Dearest Son...Happy New Year...I miss you so much I can hardly stand it..My life had been pretty bad after getting robbed at the end of October....I had my entire life stolen...But you need to know..I have found true Happiness and have a wonderful wonderful man in my life and am not alone nor will I ever be alone ever again...Trust me you would aprove because all your friends have..So sweetheart I am in great hands,and could not be happier..The only thing that would make me happier is to have you back,.This is going to be a great new beginning of a year and I miss you more than ever..They tell me it gets easier...well it don't ..it gets tougher because I miss you more as each day passes..Jan. 3rd.it wil be one and a half years...It seems as if you were here yesterday...I almost gave up and wanted to be with you,but time does change all things and heals all wounds, so now since I have found true happiness I will just have to wait untill we meet in Heaven..I now have a reason to live and know you are there watching over me...You are my angel forever baby..thank you for showing me the way..I know you had a major role in finding what I have been searching for all my life..I thank you so very much..I know you watch over me and see how things are now..The one thing I wish you could change for me is my health, but now I do not have to be alone and it is so much more comforting knowing I am in good caring hands..So my baby I must go now, and You are in my prayers every night..and in my heart every second of every day..

I wrote to you on your one year of being gone and it did not get in for some reason..We had a great get together with all your friends for your birthday Wednesday.. and it was so very nice to see the legacy you have left to carry on..I am so proud of the encouragment you have gave to them all. They are so caring, loving, and grown up..I know you are proud of them.They have come a long way baby, and doing well...but still lost without you,and slowly finding their way as adults now.I have waited for your 21st birthday Chad and seeing your friends ,I know where you would of eneded up in life..My son you have done such an amazing job of guiding me through it all.You are my angel and always watching over me; I know when your presence is around.A bond between a mother and a child never dies. Your dad is not doing too well, he took you leaving so hard.,and was away for no one to comfort him or give him a hugg.Really be watching over him O.K.Rod has kept his word, every time I see him or the kids,of whom I will always love and cherrish as my own "they always give me THAT BIG HUG" Brad and Richi and Randy Regan did the most incredible thing for mother's day.They left me a rose and card just like you would of and they even signed it for you..I have a really neat new friend,Her name is Stacy and she just had a beautiful little girl and is married to a wonderful man, who is a great daddy.When I see baby Samara as a baby she reminds of you.Lorrie says hi,she and Arron and Kenny miss you dearly too. As does your Uncle Jimmy, Randy and Lin, and Nici an Brian of course. I saw your cousin Aleace ,Johnny and Robbin's daughter.She is going to U Of Hawaii.We had a little talk about your childhod visits with Grandma Warrik .What a beautiful,intelligent girl she turned out to be.You really have alot of loved ones you left behind I can't mention everyone.Oh Deb and Rod and Cody and Carly are doing great,,They miss you so very much.You may be gone but you are in our thoughts every day.Well with me every thought..God knows how bad I want to see you ..So could you work on that,,I beg him every day,but I think he would listen to you.It does not get easier without you,It almost gets tougher..I will never understand or make sence of it.Kayla an Josh are great as usual, and like all the kid's ALWAYS THERE FOR ME.David is my rock and Cassie is,Well you know.She made me the most amazing shadow box of the pictures of when the 4 of them went up on your one year ann. and took the crosses from your memorial for me and some of your things.Sorry I have not been able to make it up there yet..In time..What an absolute gorgous place for you to lay to rest.You were always so adventurous and curious..I must be going now, so you keep up the good job and know a part of you will always remain with me..

Hey sweetheart, its just me mom....you have been gone for one month and it seems like you were here yesterday.
Your dad sends his love and was so excited for you to come to Idaho and see him this summer. No matter the time and distance, a fathers love lives on for all eternity.He is having a real hard time , so could you let him know you love him and you will see us all some day....
you know, this is not getting any easier, infact it is getting harder because your trip is taking too long.You should have been home by now.Let me know you are O.K. Could you do that?

Chad sounded like a sweetheart [Only saw him when he was a very young boy]I'm in awe of his unselfish act of bravery in saving someone else, without giving it a second thought, That is very rare in this world. Chad, wow... I can not even believe you are gone. You turned out to be the finest young man a mother could raise, she put her heart and soul into raising you. what an amazing job she did. Chad-when your mom called and told me of your death my heart exploded with grief as if i had lost one of my own sons. Which, in a way you were.We were not together long, but long enough for me to love you as my own. You are a fine young man,full of love and honor, Qualities that are much lacking in today's world. The world will be a much poorer place without you in it. You leave behind many friends who love you,a sign of your goodness. My heart goes out to each and every one of them. And of course your mom...don't worry chad, wendy will be ok (thank you lorrie, julianna and countless others) we will all be here for her. Chuck and Conrad send their love,both were hit very hard when told of your passing. We had a good cry/laugh remembering your 18th birthday.You were like the energizer bunny, you just kept going and going and going.God i miss you son!! Thank you for your hard, willing work helping me finnish the house. I will cherish those memories forever. If i may i would ask of you one favor...when you see aunt di di and sally give them a huge hug for me in return i promise i will give your mom a hug from you every time i see her. My dear son, there are no words to even begin to express how lost I am without you!! I am staying close to your friends, especialy your love and your best friend Kayla. You are the most loved friend, son, and young man. What an amazing man you grew up to be.
There will not be a day that I will not think of your beautiful smile, your love and generosity for mankind, and most of all, what an amazing person you turned out to be!!! I will see you soon. Life will never be the same with out you!!!
Your dirt bike is with Dustin, your signed guitar is with Kayla, and your Dime Slime guitar is with David. Josh has healed fine. Kayla is broken hearted, but is on the road to recovery. Cassie did an awesome job on your video. It was nice to see Kyle and Gregg again, they really miss you too! And, I am being strong, as I know you would want me to be. Your heart is with all those who ever met you.
Your last act on this earth was to put yourself in harms way to save someone else. What a brave and unselfish thing to do. I'm so proud of you!!!!
