Danielle Gudde Obituary

Danielle Denice Gudde, 37, of Arlington, WA, passed away Tuesday January 9, 2018. She was born September 1, 1980 in Mount Vernon, WA, to Tracy Borreson and Bryan Gudde. Danielle spent the majority of her life in Arlington. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1999. She then attended Masters Commission in Arlington, graduating in 2002. Danielle also attended Central Bible College in Springfield, MO, to study Evangelism. She then went on to study Music at Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon, graduating in 2012. Danielle loved the Lord, playing her guitar and singing; she had the most beautiful voice and could often silence a room with her sweet sound. She also loved the outdoors and spending time hiking and camping with family and friends, and would never turn down the chance to go on an adventure. She was goofy and loved to make people laugh, she had the biggest heart and would do anything to help others. She loved Star Trek, watching movies, reading, and reminiscing with loved ones. Danielle is survived by her parents, Tracy (Shane) Borreson, and Bryan (Linda) Gudde; brothers Clint (Jenn) Gudde, Kurt (Brittany) Gudde, and Justin Borreson; sisters, Shelbi Castle, Ashley (Leon Smith) Borreson, and Alyssa Borreson; nieces and nephews, Beau, Ashlyn, Alyse, Graesyn, Quinn, and Nolan; grandmother, Carol Gudde; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was known throughout her family as Sis, even her nieces and nephews called her Sissy. She had a large family that loved her dearly. She also leaves behind her fur-children, a beloved black lab Samwise (Sammy) Gamgee, and two cats, Ellie and Lola, as well as very close friends. Danielle is preceded in death by her grandmother and best friend, Sherry Houston, as well as grandparents, Bud and Maxine Hardie, Don Gudde, and Denny Borreson, as well as her cousin, Josh Irwin. A private memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Oh My. I have just heard this dreadful news and my heart is breaking. I met Danielle while working with the American Red Cross at the Oso mudslide. She showed up almost every day to help me serve food at the shelter and always with a smile. My heart goes out to her family and especially her nephews who she adored. May your memories of her someday bring you more smiles than tears.

I knew Danielle when she was just a kid and she was always so outgoing and bubbly. So saddened to hear this news. Words cannot express the heartfelt sympathy I have for her wonderful family as they deal with this loss. Take comfort in knowing she is with the Lord in heaven and smiling down on you.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone touched by this tragic loss. Dani was an amazing young lady that was loved by so many. Her heart was bigger than most and her laughter was contagious. She gave so much to those that she loved and her loss leaves an ache that can't be explained. So many lives are forever changed because of Dani! May the peace that passes understanding bring comfort to everyone hurting. I am thankful that we know Dani is singing with Jesus and that when her eyes closed for the last time here, they opened again seeing Jesus. God Bless Dani's family, friends and loved ones. Tracy, I want you to know my heart breaks for you. I can't imagine the immense pain you are feeling. I'm grateful that the deep faith Danielle had brings comfort in knowing she is in heaven.
