Darrell Anderson Obituary
He grew up in the close-knit community of Rockport along the Skagit River and was a proud graduate of Snohomish High School. At age 19, Darrell was drafted and served our country with bravery in Vietnam-a chapter of his life he never spoke of to boast, only with quiet honor.
A skilled cabinet maker and craftsman, Darrell later worked in underground utility sales with Associated Sand & Gravel, Cemex, and Granite Precast. He was known for his integrity, craftsmanship, and the way he always kept his word.
Darrell is survived by Larraine, his wife of 56 years; sons Neil and Gary Anderson; grandchildren Caitlyn (Ken) Ridler, Alexandria, Jordan, Tyler, Ava, and Olivia Anderson; and great-grandson Micaiah. He is also survived by his sister Marlene Nelson (Bernie), brother Darwin Anderson (Marsha), sister-in-law Patti Cook (Tom), and brother-in-law Bob Bettzig (Jeanette), along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 20 at 3:00 p.m. at Legion Park, 3-Lakes Road, Snohomish, WA.
