Deborah Tonsgard Obituary

April 14, 1964 – April 13, 2017 Deborah Ann Firman was born April 14, 1964, to Ralph and DeAnne Firman in Seattle, WA. She was baptized and confirmed at Bothell First Lutheran Church. She graduated High School at Cascade High School Everett, WA, in 1982. On August 2, 1986, Debbie married Perry Morris (JR) Tonsgard at Forest Park in Everett. From this union two children were born, Jerry Richard Tonsgard and Laura Ashley Tonsgard. Debbie enjoyed being with her family and loved being Grandma to her grandson, Wyatt Richard Tonsgard. She was also a great friend and a very good listener. Debbie worked at Hillcrest Bakery in Bothell, WA, while in high school. She attended Griffen Business School in Bellvue, WA, studying Accounting. She worked for a trucking company and a construction company. Debbie enjoyed being a part of the The Stump-jumpers Motorcycle Club where she held various positions and worked on giving out the kits for registration. Debbie is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Richard Firman and her mother-in-law, Jean Tonsgard and father-in-law, Perry Tonsgard and her brother-in-law, Michael Tonsgard; her grandparents: Johan and Helen Natterstad and Jack and Jeannette Culpepper. Debbie is survived by her husband, Perry Morris (JR) Tonsgard and her two children, Jerry Richard and Laura Ashley Tonsgard and her grandson, Wyatt Richard Tonsgard; mother, DeAnne (Jerry) Thompson; siblings, DeAnne (Frank) Warnekros and Richard (Barb) Firman; her sister-in-law, Vikki (Randy) Belville and brother-in-law, Tony Tonsgard. She was blessed many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins along with many friends. She will be truly missed by all! Rest in Peace Dear Debbie! Please join us for the Celebration of Life, September 23, 2017, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Northwest Music Hall, 1402 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett, WA 98208.

Debbie was a truly giving and generous person who always had a smile. Her service to the SJMC was beyond compare. She was a treasure and will be greatly missed. Bless you Debbie.

We spent allot of time throughout the years on the sidelines, watching our girls play soccer. Deborah was a very friendly, kind person to everybody she met. She had the biggest smile and loved to laugh. Our heartfelt thoughts to the family, may you find comfort with each new day.
