Freddie G. Roberts&bb&Freddie G. Roberts, 75, of Lake Stevens, died February 22, 2001.&pe&He was born July 22, 1925 in Meeker, Oklahoma. Freddie served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Ruby Eskridge on April 26, 1946. He worked most of his life in the construction business and worked 13 years for Western Gear before retiring in 1987.&pe&He is survived by his wife, Ruby; 3 daughters, Betty and (Don) Wright; Shirley and (Martin) Parks; Mary and (David) Mitchell, all of Lake Stevens; 2 brothers, Leslie and (Florence) Roberts of Nampa, Idaho; Billie and (Wava) Roberts of Medesto, CA; sister Avis Turpin of Hayward, CA; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and his dog, Odie.&pe&Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.&pe& Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Purdy and Walters with Cassidy Funeral Home, Everett.&pe&Committal Service will follow at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park.
