Patrick Kasch Obituary

Patrick Lynn Kasch was born August 24, 1950 and passed peacefully at his Hermosa Beach Home November 2, 2021. Pat is proceeded by his Mother Dorothy Kasch and Father William H Kasch Everett WA. Also by his brother Kenneth Overvold "Butch" (Anchorage, AK) and many favorite aunts and uncles. Pat is survived by his daughters, Erika Kasch Fisher (Scott) from Casa Grande, AZ and Sarah Kasch Peterson (Seth) Peterson from Richland, WA as well as his 5 Grandchildren Andrew Kasch, Adam Fisher, Ashley Fisher, Asher Peterson, and Noah Peterson. His bothers Bill Kasch (Longview WA) and Mike Kasch (Hermosa Beach, WA) and sister Sue Kasch Bundy (Everett WA) and many nieces, nephews, and cousins that he loved very much.

Pat was born and raised in Everett Washington and graduated from Everett High School in 1968. Pat spent his summers out at Hermosa beach on the water fishing and crabbing, cementing his love of the water that continued on for the rest of his life, earning him the name "Captain Kasch". Although Pat spent his career in the window industry his heart was truly that of an artist. He played guitar in a band in high school but loved the harmonica, piano, saxophone or any other instrument he could get his hands on. He was always up to something, drawing, painting, inventing, card tricks, magic, carving walking sticks and designing fishing poles and even the occasional napkin rose. He had many collections and relished the adventure of tracking down a good bargain. Pat was full of life and had many friends that he considered family and will be missed by many who loved him dearly. Please join us Saturday November 12th at the VFW from 2-4pm for Celebration of Pat's life.

May you continue to play in and around the beaches of heaven. My sympathy to all who loved him. As next door neighbors, Pat and I beachcombed and created cool stuff along the beaches of Hermosa. There was a group of us and if you couldn't find us in the water, you found us along the beach. Go with God Pat!

This is another one of those really tough losses. First, my condolences to the Kasche family and everyone that knew Pat. Those old days in the window business at H&D were my first job and we had a great team. Many are gone today and now Pat joins that group. Vern, Hal, Rod, Skip, Pat, Howard, and on and on. The great times at Sekiu on a fishing trip, or at a holiday party, or at Rosebuds for an after work beer. Pat was always such a great part of all of these memories. Playing his guitar or just telling stories, it didn't matter. Pat, you'll be missed.

We are so sorry and saddened by the passing of your Dad. He was a great friend and a great uncle to Briegh and Grant. May your memories and the time you guys get to spend together in this sorrowful time help to mend your hearts. He´s now one of your guardian angels.
Love always,
Aunty Carol and Uncle Greg
