Bob and I started working in the early 70's for Snohomish County. Worked endless hours on the same crews and he always entertained us with colorful stories about fishing, clam digging and hunting for frog legs. I remember one such clam digging excursion with Bob and two other guys on Whidbey Island. We had to use a rope to get down the bank and up with full five gallon buckets of clams. Bob and I would ride to Union meetings together and suffice it to say they were memorable as well. Condolences to the family. Bob was truly one of a kind and he will be missed.
