Samantha Marie Crowell
Sam Crowell, "Super Sam", 18, of Monroe, Washington, passed away peacefully the morning of Sept 5 after a long and courageous fight with cancer. She faced her battle head-on and never gave up the fight.
She had recently graduated from Monroe High School and was looking forward to being healed so that she could pursue her desire to become a nurse and work at Children's Hospital to help other kids with cancer. She was a huge fan of the Seahawks, Huskies, and Bearcats. She was best known for her ever-present smile and joy, and lived by her motto: Strength, Miracles, and Courage.
She is dearly missed by her parents, Chuck and Lisa Sibert of Monroe, and Rodney Crowell, of Montana; her younger sisters, Bri and Karley; grandparents, Sandy and Buzzi Cook of North Bend, and Judy and Bruce Crowell of Montana; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Samantha's name may be made to Curesearch, Wilms Tumor Initiative, www.curesearch.org or the Seattle Children's Hospital Foundation.

Dear Lisa, Chuck, Brianna, Karley and Rodney:
Our hearts were saddened to hear that Sammi was taken by cancer last week. Her struggle was long and painful but full of courage, strength and the best attitude I've ever seen. She was God's angel on Earth and surely will have a high place in Heaven. She is without pain and suffering and can laugh, smile, and be happy now. God bless you all and our prayers are with you.

What a loss to all of you. God always needs angels and Sami is a beautiful and amazing one. I know that she will be looking over all of you. I know that all our words will not take away the pain of your loss but know that maybe some of the love that we all have for Sami and each of you will make it more bearable. Dearest Lisa, Chuck & Family,
We were deeply saddened to hear the news of Samantha's passing. We know how you all loved her so, & what a void this must leave in your lives. Although we never had the opportunity to meet her, the descriptions from our mutual friends indicate she was an absolute "Angel on Earth!" We've witnessed in life, that those who truly understand Love, Kindness, & Selflessness, are many times called to Heaven at an early age. We hope you find solace in her loving memory. You have our deepest sympathy. We too feel a loss for never having met such a wonderful young lady. May her sweet memory & the multitude of ways she's inspired so many, live on in the hearts & minds of all those that knew & loved her. Love is the answer.
