Scott Wilson Obituary


Scott Wilson

Scott Wilson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Scott was born in Seattle, WA on March 31, 1948 and died at home with his wife and daughters in Granite Falls, WA on June 22, 2007. Scott was a highly decorated Vietnam Veteran with an Honorable Discharge on July 1,1973. He worked as a Journeyman Plumber. In June of 1986 he opened and operated C&S Plumbing along side his wife until he retired in May of 1995. Scott was an avid catch and release fisherman. He enjoyed rock hunting, bird watching, and long drives through the mountains. He also enjoyed watching baseball and football. (GO HAWKS!!) Scott also loved his family and adored his grandchildren with all his heart and soul. He will be missed immensely and remembered for his honesty, integrity, strength and love of life.
Scott is survived by his wife, Cheryl, of 31 years; daughters, Tracy Wilson-Crane and her husband John Crane, Jamie Wilson, and Angie Wilson and her fiance Danny Christy; grandsons, Mick Erickson, Scotty Wilson, Cody Wilson, MacCoy Christy, and Brandon Crane; granddaughter; Ember Rae Christy; his brother, Patrick Wilson; and his sisterss Millie Clemenson and Merlyn Wilson.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2007 at Gilbertson's Funeral Home in Stanwood, Washington. Reception immediately following at 26620 36th Ave NW Stanwood WA
Memorial Contributions may be given to The Bellingham Veterans Center, 3800 Byron Avenue #124, Bellingham, WA 98229
