Timothy Sweetin Obituary

MSgt. Timothy S. Sweetin (RET)

Tim Sweetin, originally of McAlester, Oklahoma, left us on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, in Reno, Nevada, at the age of 55.
After serving 23 years in the United States Air Force he retired and spent the next 12 years with the United States Postal Service, in Everett, WA and Reno, NV. Tim enjoyed his hobbies of traveling and Cowboy Action Shooting.
Tim is survived by his wife, Sandy Sweetin; and his daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren, Melissa and Jim Gilbertson, John (15), and Syrina (11), of San Bernardino, CA; Megan and Frelan Staley, Alex (5), and Mikalah (2), of Lakewood, WA., and his large extended family in Washington.
He is also survived by his Father and step-mother, Max and Peggy Sweetin, of Ti Valley, OK.; sisters and brother, Vicky and Okey Wills, of Dallas, TX, Brent Sweetin, of McAlester, Oklahoma, and Susan and Glen Benson, of Bugtussle, OK; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Tim is preceded in death by his mother, Mamie Jo Souther.
Services will be held at the Ross, Burke and Knobel Mortuary, 2155 Kietzke Lane, Reno, NV. 89502 on Monday, May 7, 2007, at 2 p.m. Please visit the family on-line guest book at www.rossburkeknobel.com.

Tim has been a part of my family as long as I can remember, He alway's showed concern and care, he had a gentleness about him and he was my friend. His Pride in the Air Force, the Postal Service his Children and wife,he was a companion to us all.
