He loved the beach, surfing, fishing and was an avid Duke fan.
His is survived by his wife, Dawn Wallace, his mother, Barbara Herrmann Wallace of Charleston, SC, his father, Edward M. Wallace of Rock Hill, SC, sister, Mary Campbell Cohn (Barry), brothers, Doug Pilcher (Sally), John Pilcher IV (Lisa), and step-children, Delanie and Tanner.
Private services for his family will be held at a later date.

I'm at a complete loss of words. I just can't believe this is true. So many great memories, shared laughs, shared lives. We were each other's first love, high school sweethearts. Lil Mike you will be missed by so many. That smile would melt anyone's heart❤. My thoughts and prayers are with your wife, kids, parents and your family. We love you Mike. Watch over us

Very hard to see this, I will never forget the years we lived together in Surfside. You were my roommate, my best friend and I will always love you brother...The fish we caught and waves we tried to catch, but most of all I will never forget the memories we had while doing so!
