Surfside Beach, South Carolina - Mrs. Roxie Moore Eddleman, 88, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 at The Palmettos of Garden City in Murrells Inlet, SC.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Woodhaven Baptist Church, with Dr. Tom Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park - Cherry Road.
Born in Rock Hill, Mrs. Eddleman was the daughter of the late Oliver Loran Moore and the late Beulah Pressley Moore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Franklin Eddleman; and her siblings, Aileen Boone, Jeanette McMurray, Oliver S. "Buddy" Moore, Melvin A. "Cooter" Moore, Nancy Kennington, and Elaine Richardson. She was retired from Celriver Federal Credit Union with over 30 years of service and also served on their board of directors. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone. She was a charter member of Woodhaven Baptist Church and was a God-fearing woman and her family was everything to her.
Surviving are her three daughters, Donna (Ron) Freeman of Surfside Beach, SC, Janet (Mike) Garrick of Richmond Hill, GA, and Lisa (Guy) Emerson of Myrtle Beach, SC; five grandchildren, Jammie Emerson, Judson (Carrie) Garrick, Emilee Smith, Haylee (Travis) Muncy, and Kendall Emerson; eight great-grandchildren, Andrew, Maddie, Gavin, Riley, Morgan, Mahayla, Collin, Elijah, Carlee, Ella, and Lillie; and her sister, Louise Devinney of Rock Hill, SC.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am-11:30 am on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Eddleman's name to The Palmettos of Garden City, 9415 Frontage Rd, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
