Rock Hill, South Carolina - "Amy" Tallent, 74, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 12, 2023.
Amy was born on April 19, 1949, to the late Earl Tipton and Abbie Lena Canipe Tipton Brannon in Rock Hill, SC. She became the loving wife of Larry Michael Tallent and always enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, including her friends. During her work life, she worked for Spring's Industries in the human resources and creative designs departments. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, quilting, and family time.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Michael Tallent; her daughter, Lisa Michelle Tallent Rapp (Scott); her siblings, Annie Bigham, Delmas "Spud" Tipton (Dorothy), Doyle Tipton (Pat), Nancy Richards (Jake), and Douglas "Nick" Brannon (Emma); her grandchildren, Christopher Rapp (Kristin) and Kristin Rawdon (Daniel); her great-grandchildren, Payton and Caroline; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Mrs. Tallent was preceded in death by her late parents; and her siblings, Jacqueline West, Dennis Tipton, and Danny Tipton.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at First Christian Church, 235 Community St, Rock Hill, SC 29730. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service, beginning at 2:00 PM.

Amy was such a sweetheart. I feel very blessed to have spent time with her during our work on the last renunion.The world would be a better place with more Amy´s in it.

Dear Tallent Family, Kim and I send our deep condolences and fond remembrances. I have such wonderful memories of my aunt Amy as a bright-eyed teenager in Rock Hill, which have alway carried with me.
