Elysia Renee Moore, 17, of Champaign Ill., passed away unexpectedly at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Ill.
A service celebrating her life will be Sept. 2, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Benton Harbor. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the service at noon.

Elysia was born July 21, 2004, to Sammy Moore and Jessica Still in St. Joseph.
She was kind, brave and full of life. She loved hard and was always up for a challenge. She was an extremely intelligent and vibrant young lady. She brought love and light into the lives of everyone she knew.
The family left behind to cherish her memories are her father, Sammy Moore, and mother, Jessica Still, both of Champaign, Ill.; two brothers, Rodney Moore and Nathaniel Moore; one sister, Natalie Moore of Champaign, Ill.; great-great-grandmother, Mildred Lindsey of Benton Harbor; great-grandmother, Brenda Oliver of Benton Harbor; great-grandfather, Rodney Still, and great-grandmother, Jean Still, both of Arizona; grandfather, Eric Crawford of Chicago; grandmother, Renee Walker of Arizona; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends who loved and adored her.
Elysia was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Moore Jr.; great-grandmother, Earline Woodard; great-grandfather, Arthur Woodard; grandfather, James Watson; grandmother, Bobbie Moore; and her aunt, Mary Moore.
