Mark James Hembree, 69, of Coloma passed away at home on Jan. 15, 2025.
Cremation has taken place. A casual memorial will take place from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Coloma American Legion Post 362.

Mark was born March 22, 1955, in Benton Harbor to James and Wanda (Koerber) Hembree. He attended Coloma High School. Mark married Judy Lynn Reynolds in 1978, and they were married until 1987. In his younger years, Mark worked at his parent's business, Hembree Trailer Sales. He attended Lake Michigan College for EMT Specialist and worked for Covert Fire and Ambulance. He was passionate about fishing, hunting, camping and riding his Harley. He also enjoyed any time he could spend with his family. He was inseparable from his best friend, Buddy the Chihuahua, whom he took everywhere with him, making friends along the way.
Mark is survived by a son, Marc Alan Hembree and his partner Sarah along with her two boys: Jake and David; a niece, Sarah (Kyle) McKamey; grandsons: Jared Pecoraro and Cody Hembree; his former wife, Judy; a former partner of many years, Rhonda Kling along with her children: Ryan and Angela Kling. Also surviving are several other adopted grandchildren and three great-grandchildren that he never had a chance to meet.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Jim and Wanda; his brother, Kim, and his precious daughter, Krista Lynn.
