Geraldine Bobo HICKORY Mrs. Geraldine Bobo, 90, of Hickory, entered eternal rest Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Montgomery Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Bobo was a native of Spartanburg, S.C. She was the widow of Mr. Richard Bobo and the daughter of the late Mr. Jack and Vestrula Farr Jeter. Mrs. Bobo was pre-deceased by a son, Michael Bobo. Mrs. Bobo leaves to cherish fond and loving memories one daughter, Betty Bobo, of Washington, D.C.; three sons, Marion Bobo, of Hickory, Ricky Bobo, of Mount Gilead and Ronald Bobo, of Washington, D.C.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of other special nieces, cousins and friends. A viewing will be held Friday, June 14, from 2 to 8 p.m. Services for Mrs. Bobo will be held Saturday, June 15, at 2 p.m. at Allen Chapel United Methodist Church, Spartanburg, S.C. Family is at the home of her cousin, Cynthia McCree Doggett, at 6 Phyllis Wheatley Ct. Callaham-Hicks Funeral Home, Spartanburg, S.C. is assisting the family.
