Millie Kay Price

February 19, 1947 - June 26, 2024

Millie Kay Price, 77, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Deer Park Health and Rehabilitation.

A native of Catawba County, she was born February 19, 1947, to the late Earl and Mildred Rowe Price.

Millie worked as a waitress at The Omelette Shop in Hickory for many years. She was well-loved by all, and she made many friends through her work. She was a very giving woman who always had a smile to share with others. Millie was a true people person who never met a stranger. Despite her struggles in life, she never gave up. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Richard Woody, Jr., Andrea Lynn Ladd, and twin boys; and two siblings, Patricia Earlene Price and Kenny Andrew Price.

She is survived by two siblings, Charles Price (Bonnie) and Mary Logan (Frank); three grandsons, Joey Ladd, Joshua Ladd, and Brandon Woody; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 2 p.m., at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory.
