Ray Wilson Obituary
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Wilma Wilson; three children, James Wilson of Hillsdale, MI, Rebecca (Douglas) Hamblin of Bridgeport, AL and Renita (Alan) Hebner of Taylor, MI; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dewey (Patricia) Wilson of Taylor, MI and Phillip (Virginia) Wilson of North Wilkesboro, NC and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Gary and Richard and one brother, Joe Wilson.
Mr. Wilson served as a Pastor throughout his life beginning in 1964 and retiring in 2009.
A funeral service to honor the life of Ray Joe Wilson will be held at Countryside Bible Church, on Friday, July 6th beginning at 12:00 noon, with Pastor John Lillie officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at Countryside Bible Church, on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
An additional time of visitation will be held at the Hampton Funeral Home in Hillsdale, on Tuesday, July 10th from 3 – 7 p.m. An interment service will be held at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Flat Rock, Michigan, on Wednesday, July 11th beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Lillie officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Countryside Bible Church or to Easter Seals.
