Hazel Bergeron

Hazel Clement Bergeron, 83, a native of St. John Community (Thibodaux) and resident of Houma, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father Tuesday, March 17, 2015.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 20, at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, March 21, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II.
She is survived by her sons, Gregory Bergeron and Ernie Bergeron and wife, Anita; daughter, Lauren Fletcher; grandchildren, Chelsea Fenton and husband, Robert, Chase Bergeron and Annelle Fletcher; great-grandchildren, Wade and Jane Fenton; sisters, Marcella Brasher and Gail Decker and husband, Bobby; sister-in-law, Lucille Clement; and brother-in-law, Charles Lee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence A. Bergeron Jr.; parents, Nolan and Annelle Naquin Clement; brother, Burgess Clement; sisters, Viola Robeau and husband, Fred, and Yvonne Lee; and brother-in-law, Ray Brasher.
Hazel was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a hard working woman with a strong will and love of life. She loved people and socializing. She was a devout Catholic and a founding parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church where she was a member of the Catholic Daughters for 40 years. She was also a member of the church choir. She was a master gardener with the LSU Agricultural Center.
Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
