I still remember Mrs. Carr and her family on the front row on Sundays. Mrs. Carr always had a smile and was so kind to be around.

To the family:

The mold was broken when she grace this earth. It was a battle that she fought beautifully. May memories warm your hearts. Sometimes suffering is so that others can have solace with knowing their love one is truly in a better place. Resting in the bosom of Jesus. We will continue to ask God to keep you sustained with His peace!

John 14(KJV)

14 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

To Maurice, and Family
This loss is very painful to me in many ways. Ada was someone I admired as a Christian, woman, mother and wife to her husband; they were dear friends of 30 plus years. The joy of seeing her smile in church on Sunday, and the kindness in her heart will be missed.
Last year I lost my older brother, and dad. It was her comfort, and prayers, that got me threw that rough stretch.
My Condolences go out to her husband, family, friends, and all who loved, and cared for this wonderful women, mother, wife, of strong faith.

You have your wings Mrs. Carr

The Family of Mrs. Ada Carr

Dear Family,
The loss of your lovely wife, mother, grandmother, my former director of WACA & friend has saddened me. I was on my bus route when I heard the sad news of Mrs. Carr's death. I know it was a shock to all who knew her. She truly loved you guys very much & I know you loved & cared for her as well.

Mrs. Carr was a warm kind & pleasant person. She always had a greeting smile & a great sense of humor. I truly feel bless to have known Mrs. Carr & to have worked under her leadership at WACA. I will miss her dearly.

As I pray for you today, asking our Heavenly Father which art in heaven, whence cometh our help to touch each one of you with His Grace & MERCY. To strengthen, to give you comfort & peace that will overflow in your hearts as you all live in His embrace. I am asking the Father to wrap his loving arms around The Carr family as you all draw closer to Him to let you know you are not alone. Jesus loves & cares for All of you. He is able to carry you through any difficulties you are facing.

I thank You Father & give you ALL the Praises in Jesus's Mighty name...Amen.

I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to you with much love.

Ada and I were long time friends. We grew up together, lived in close proximity in Bryan,Texas and were raised by parents who wanted nothing but the best for us.

I did not see her very often after moving to Houston, but when I was fortunate enough to speak with our classmates, I knew that she was headed in only one direction, which was UP!

My wife always mentioned good things about her and her wonderful family when they corresponded on Facebook. It's always nice to hear positive things about the people you love.

May God continue to bless her husband, their
children, and grandchildren. Never forget what a positive impact she has had on so many lives.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I joined her class at Stuchberry half way through my 5th grade year. She was the most welcoming, genuine person I had ever met outside my own family. She remembered me a few years down the road, and that made an even bigger, positive impression on me.

Rest in the arms of Jesus, Mrs. Carr. Your work here is done, and you did it well.

I pray for peace for the Carr family.

We would like to send our sympathy and love to Mr. Carr, Tiffaney, Chavon, Justin and the rest of the Carr family. Our hearts ache for your family during this difficult time. Mrs. Carr was such an amazing person and she will truly be missed. We can't help but smile on the inside when we think about the legacy she is leaving behind. She taught a lot to her children, her grandchildren and others like us. Just think about all the generations that have been and will be blessed by the life she lived. Always, keep dear in your hearts how much Mrs. Ada loved you all, she loved to speak about you all and was so very proud of her family. We will miss our conversations with her, she was such a pistol lol. We truly hate that we could not be at the funeral today, bc unfortunately we are out of town for the holiday. However, if you all need anything, please do not hesitate to call us, we love you all.

Peace & continued blessings,
The Breech Family

Mrs. Carr was one of my favorite teachers. I had her as a 5th grader at Stuchberry Elementary. I currently work in PISD and saw the announcement. I'll always remember the day we came in from PE and she told us it was time to start using deodorant. It was funny.

I also remember her talking about #73 from the Bronco's and seeing my potential.

She was a favorite!

I'm 40 now, so this was about 30 years ago. We had a swimming party at your house at the end of the year.

Strong woman of enormous character, zeal for life and love. College alum and co-laborer in sharing our gifts in our educational and church community. Ada will be remembered for her many accomplishments but must of all her dedication to her family and life long friends. The door to her home was always open and her heart always sharing. Direct in instruction, but loving and encouraging.
May your legacy live on in all of us. Camille McCammon

I wish I knew the words,
I wish I knew the way
To ease your hurt a little
and cheer your heart today,
But I'm not sure exactly
what to Say or what to do
I just know I really care
and want you to know that, too.
