Going through the memories and the fun times we had - I am finally able to say that I am not so sad!

Even though I miss you more than words can say - I still take you with me day after day!

Let's never forget the fun times Loren brought into our lives!

It has been two years today since the passing of my sister Loren. I think of her almost daily. Her and I were not very close growing up, but I always loved and admired her with all of my heart. She was my Big sister. I had always thought that when we were older, we would sit back and laugh at all the fighting and argueing. So I feel very empty and saddened she is gone. I do know the Lord, and that is what keeps me going. I hope no one forgets to keep this web site active, and to keep remembering how beautiful my sister was. I see her smile everytime I look at my nephew Dylan whom I love beyond words. I LOVE YOU LOREN! Please no one forget!

I wrote this in hopes that it will help get through the tough times of missing our dearest Loren!

2003 - Another Year!

Another year has gone without you here

Yet in our hearts you feel so near

We all miss your smile day after day

Yet there are no words that we know to say

That could make us feel better that you are gone

Yet we need to remember you're not alone

We all miss you Loren, so very much

It would help if you could give us a touch

By laying a hand on our shoulder or even our face

You could remind us all that you're in a place

With our Father in heaven and peace above

There is no anguish just pure love

Knowing that will get us through the day

And by asking for comfort as we pray

Eternity in Heaven means we win

So we will wait our turn and see you then

We all love you Loren, and wish you were here

As you remain in our hearts you will always feel near!

I miss you - God bless,

Your Best Friend, Tonya Gaul

I miss my sister more than words can ever express. All of my years growing up, I was always Loren's little sister. That made me feel very proud. She was so lucky to have such wonderful friends who cared so deeply for her. I know she is with Our Loving Father, and I will see her again, so I can tell her face to face, just how much I love her. It comforts me to know that the enemy has been defeated, and my sister is no longer suffering. I LOVE YOU LOREN!!!!!!

Dear Aunt Patty, Kristi, and Kelli -

I am so saddened to hear about Loren's passing. I just want you all to know that you are in mine and my families prayers. You guys are all a part of our childhood memories and we cherish those memories deeply. Stand strong, pray, and walk w/ Jesus - I have learned that that is the only way to get through something like this. Let God bless your lives on earth now and let him take care of Loren in Heaven, she is your angel...

Loren's Birthday

Oh - how I would love to spend this day with Loren - to celebrate and laugh with her - I know many of us would! However, she is gone to celebrate the rest of her life with our Lord and that makes it all okay.

I miss you Loren so much it hurts - but I feel you are really happy now and knowing that, in my heart, helps me everyday!

Love You Always! Tonya

Loren will always be in my heart, she will always be Aunt Niese's girl. The memories of Loren as a child teenager adult and mother are times I will never forget. There were so many good qualities Loren possessed. She is now free from the demons of this world and in her loving Father's arms.

"At the Sea"

by Dylan Barrett Vaughn age 7

The sea is so blue as the boat floats on the water so quiety it goes until it runs into a rock

The sea is so calm as the clouds float across the sky like walking in the snow until it starts to storm

The sea is so calm as the waves float across the sea like vanilla ice cream until dark comes

To family and friends,

My deepest sympathy to all that had the opportunity and pleasure to meet Loren. The memories I have of Loren will be gifts that I can enjoy and share with others. At least she is at peace with her maker and her fight is over. I will truly treasure what Loren has left me always.

To Our Precious Loren:

John 14:1-4

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me (Jesus). In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going".

I have so many memories of Loren... and will keep them so very close to my heart!

To all Loren's Family & Friends: I think it is very important for us to remember at a time like this that Loren is still very much with us and a part of us, it's just that we can't "see" her. She is now in Heaven with God and is Eternally happy. Keep those you love close to you & take them not for granted. Loren, we love & miss you!

Words can not express what I am feeling about Loren, but I am so glad I have so many wonderful, fun, and crazy memories to hold on to. I can't imagine my childhood without her (I stayed grounded quite a bit, but it was worth it). She always made us laugh and she was always laughing. I am so glad she will not have to suffer any longer. we love you Loren

I have laughed and cried over the crazy memories I have of Loren. She was so full of life! I will miss her great laugh and how she could manage to find something to laugh about even in the most stressful times. She was truly one of a kind in so many ways and I have known what a sense of "fun" is because of her friendship. I take comfort in knowing Loren is at peace and doesn't have to wrestle with her demons anymore.

To All of Loren's Family & Friends:

What I will miss most is Loren's infectious laugh and her ability to make me love her even though she could drive me nuts with her crazy antics. I know our teenage years were much more lively because of Loren. She will be missed dearly.

With Much Love,

Kathy Gorton-Stiegelmar
