Dear Aunt Eloise, I'm so sorry. I love you and will be praying for you all. They don't make them like Uncle Charles anymore. I miss you.
Love,

Charles and Eloise, and my late husband Charles and I were all friends at Central Presbyterian in Waco. He and I sang in the choir for several yeas. I had their children in SS class. We were all good friends up till they moved to Houston.I will miss his emails as they were always interesting. He was fun, too.

Martha, I am so sorry to hear about your father. I can remember him in the weeks before your wedding, so full of energy and happiness. The weekend those of us honored to be your bridesmaids were in town for dress fittings and bridal showers was joyous. Your dad was truly in his element. Surrounded by so much estrogen and purple taffeta, he was thrilled with it all! I know he set the loving husband/amazing dad bar very high for Jim! And I also know he and your mom have loved being so close in proximity to Sydney and Sarah Margaret. The girls are so lucky to have had their grandpa as a constant presence in their lives. I know you will all miss him terribly, your mother most of all. Please give Eloise a hug from me. You are all in my prayers, and I love you! Emily
