EVELYN ANN FUCIK

EVELYN ANN FUCIK, age 87, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother was called home by the Lord on May 14, 2010. She spent her entire life raising and caring for her family. She served as Eucharistic minister as well as working on numerous Bazaars and volunteering to serve school lunches at Holy Ghost School. She worked as an election official. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Charlie; son, Glen Ray; parents, John and Ernestine Pustejovsky; three sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her five sons, Brother Charles, Kenneth and wife Linda, Richard and wife Lajuana, Donald and wife Kathleen, and James; and daughter in law, Denise. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, her sister Clara Vackar and numerous nieces and nephews.Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 17, 2010, with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 6921 Chetwood Dr., Houston. Rite of Committal will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Memorial Park Cemetery in El Campo, TX.In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in Evelyn's honor to the American Heart and Diabetes Association or The American Kidneys Foundation.
