Frank Feagin Obituary

FRANK JOE FEAGIN, born March 14, 1914 in Kaufman, Texas, died Friday, October 10 at University Place Nursing Center (UPNC). He is survived by three children, their spouses, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. They include Joe and Clairece Feagin of Gainesville, Florida, and their children Michelle Newberry and her son, Derek, and Trevor Feagin; Lana and Bob Stripling of Dallas, Texas, and their children Sheryl and William; and Terry Feagin of Houston, Texas and his sons Rusty, Kyle, and Bryce. Mr. Feagin, a graduate of Texas A&M, was chief of Geophysics and Engineering Research at Exxon Production Research, where he worked for 45 years. He retired from Exxon and remained active with his engineering talents building two electronic organs. He was loved and admired by those who knew him. Frank and Hanna, his wife of 65 years, were members of West University Baptist Church for over 60 years. Donations can be made to Habitat for Humanity (713-671-9993) in lieu of flowers. Services will be held at 3:00 PM, October 18, 2003, at UPNC, 7480 Beechnut.
