Dr Carlos was my supervisor during some of my rotations. He never treated me like his subordinate, always took the first step in any task, he was always side by side in patients care, always gave respect to everyone. His greatness was that he never thought himself superior to others. He will be missed!

A great man of integrity. A psychiatrist who was invested in his practice of care and concern to and with his clients. It was nothing short of a blessing to have met and worked alongside Dr. Ismael Carlo. Dr. Carlo was an advocate for individuals that lacked the ability to effectively express their feelings, fears, and dreams. His departure has left a paramount, unspeakable void within his workplace and within countless hearts.
An intelligent, compassionate, honest, unbiased, and graceful leader is what I will remember him as. He possessed an infectious smile and captivating laugh that would send a ray of light through the darkest circumstance or situation. He shared guidance and wisdom that is simply invaluable, to say the least. He had such a profound, positive effect on my life and I will forever be grateful for it.
Far too often earthly angels are cast in the backgrounds of chaos, confusion, and uncertainty; but not Dr. Carlo. His humility, his poise, his grace and his gift appeared to be right at the forefront to readily assist others.
There are no particular words that will truly allow me to express my admiration for this individual. As each tear falls, I can only be thankful that I was fortunate enough to encounter such a selfless person. His demonstration of humbleness and altruism is what I will refer to, as I take strides to be the example that he was for me.
Although he has departed us in the physical; I am certain that his spirit has left lively footprints within the hearts of those he touched.
God bless you Dr. Carlo
May peace comfort your family, assuring them that all is well with you.
