Our warmest condolences for your loss. My dad, Rev. L K Hartsfield, was a school mate of Howard at Stonewall High School and he was kind enough to get me a temporary job as a roustabout with Texaco in South Louisiana when I finished college at the request of my dad. Remember stories of the home place and family dairy at Stonewall. Prayers for the family.

I met him only once, he was a very kind man. He was my fathers first cousin. My fathers name was Lee Joseph Rambin. It is amazing how a small town like Stonewall had such wonderful people and such a "close knit" of families that never forgot where they came from and to be proud of it. God Bless you all!!

As an individual with 46 years of Texaco service I had the pleasure of several contacts with Mr. Rambin. He was a genteman who I considered a friend. I am sorry to learn of his passing.
