You were such a great guy. You were considered a friend, a brother, and even a son. You were there to wake the lazy ones (kim) up and even to put her and i to bed. You were there to talk to, and whenever we needed a shoulder to cry on you were also there. We all loved you, and even though we all left on good terms with you, we wish that we could have had more time with you. If only we would have talked to you more whenever you called us, if only we paid more attention. Thank you for never losing touch with us and for being here for us. We appreciate it so much. We will never forget the little things you did to make us laugh, we will never forget how you made such a horrible day into a great one, but most of all we will never forget you. I am pretty sure that if you were here this very day you’d be making someone laugh as we speak. Everyone says not to think of the bad moments that we had with you but, the funny thing is.... I don’t think we EVER had those. They never existed in your category. Well you truly were a GREAT person at heart and my family is proud to have known that we were your second family. We love you Jared and wherever your at I hope you know that. May god be with you. I will see you again..Big Bro and I will always love you

Hey Jared. I really miss you alot! I was thinking about all the fun times we had when we were younger. Playing hide and seek late at night with ALL of our billion cousins and the neighbors kids on Beckman St.Yall would always hide in the trees when I was it because I could'nt climb the tree. HAHa. When you, AJ, and I would throw paint and tape in eachothers hair when we were helping my dad on his paint jobs. Or when we got in trouble for walking to Northline mall and not telling our parents and my mom freaked out because she did'nt know where I was, you let me blame it on you so that I would'nt get in trouble. You were always such an awesom friend. I will miss you alot. Im sorry that I couldnt get up and say something about you at the service. I was torn up about your death and my fathers death so close togather. But Im glad you have some company up there! I love you!

Jared,

The news was very unexpected and I never imagined in a million years that I would have to endure such an experience. I'll always remember Anna babysitting Adriean and Sarah, then you and Lisa came along with Goo to follow. It was always GREAT being around your family. It was a couple of years that went by and I couldn't believe how you had grown when you were living with Moe. You had matured to a young man, I was also excited to hear that you were in The Navy. Just like everyone, I am glad that you were blessed into our hearts and our lives. You were always so joyful to be around with and I'll forever keep those memories. At your burial I felt a nice cool breeze come across everyone in the heated sun and I knew it was you letting everyone know that you were there with us and for us not to be sad because you were gone, but for us to be happy that you are in a better place with our Heavenly Father. We'll forever keep you in our memories, We Love You.

I did not know Jared or the Valdez family but I would like you to know that we are too grieving his passing. He was protecting me and my family and there is no way to ever thank him for that but I thank his family for giving the world the privilege and opportunity of having him here for the time that he was here. God bless Jared and his family...our prayers are with you.

What can i say about Jared that hasn't been said already. He was one of a kind. He was a sweet heart, always willing to lend a helping hand, he cared about others and was always so happy. All i can think about is that great big smile of his. People like him don't come around too often, i am glad that i got the chance to meet him and get to know him, even if it was for a short amount of time. My thoughts and prayers are with the Valdez family.

HEY BUDDY,

I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT THERE WILL BE ALOT OF PEOPLE MISSING YOU & WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU. I CAN'T BELEIVE THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING, I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST A DREAM. I WISH IT WAS TO WHERE I COULD WAKE UP AND EVERYTHING WOULD BE OK AGAIN. I REMEMBER WHEN YOU, LISA, ADAM & I USED TO ALWAYS SIT IN HOMEROOM AND JOKE AROUND, YOU ALWAYS KNEW HOW TO CHEER SOMEONE UP AND MAKE THEM FEEL BETTER.

(LISA)

I AM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, IT WILL BE OK, JUST REMEMBER WHAT I TOLD YOU (THINK OF HAPPY MEMORIES).

My memories of Jared are great, fun memories. I will always remember him smiling down the halls of Sam no matter what he was doing. He was a very special, very nice friend that we all will miss deeply and will never forget. I will always remember his smile and laughter.
