Larry Larson Obituary

Larry Larson

Larry Larson, 63, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2016. He was born in Williston, ND to Cecil and Ada Larson. He graduated from Williston High School in 1971. Larry joined the Army and was stationed in Germany as a radio mechanic. Larry was a proud member of the American Legion. Larry started working in the oil field in 1981 as a salesman in Williston, from there Rock Springs, WY, Casper, WY, Denver and then Houston where he retired in 2015 as a sales manager with Tuboscope. Larry loved to cook, golf, travel, huge sports fan (Astros and Texans), playing with the dogs and loved to be with family and friends. Larry was a member of the Raveneaux Country Club where he enjoyed playing golf everyday if he could. For Larry's 60th birthday, his present was a father-son trip to the Master's golf tournament in 2013. We will always treasure those memories.

I Loved my Uncle Cecil and Auntie Ada and when all my cousins came along, you were an extension of them! Larry had his dad's big heart and smile and his optimistic nature. He was a little "feisty and generous to the core, like his mom. I will miss you, sweet cousin, thanks for the memories❤ Bette

I just wanted to say how sad I am for your loss. Larry was a very pleasant and patient man and he will be sorely missed. I came to know Larry through working for ICO and now Tuboscope in California. He was asked to come out to Bakersfield to help our new salesman many years ago (Loren Grondahl, also from Williston) and it was a real pleasure getting to know him. I wish you and your family the absolute best in such a difficult time.
