Matthew Jennings Obituary

MATTHEW LEE JENNINGS, 23, passed away on November 29, 2002. Matthew was born on April 24, 1979 in Webster, Texas. Matthew was a special person who enriched the lives of those he touched. He was a gifted artist and self-taught musician who enjoyed being with his friends and family. Matthew attended River Oaks Baptist School, Episcopal High School, Clear Creek High School and Lamar High School. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Karen and Bruce Steffler, his father, Durhmon Jennings, two brothers, Robert Steffler of Plano, Texas, and Alexander Steffler, and his grandparents, Norma Seabourne, Madylene and Tyre Lee Jennings III, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be from 5-8:30PM. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2002, at 3:00PM in the chapel, with celebrants R. Michael Devenport and Kathy Molitor. In lieu of flowers, Matthew's family requests that donations be made to the Mental Health and Mental Retardation Authority of Harris County.
