I just learned about Michael's death. I was so sad to learn that the world lost such an incredibly loving soul. He loved his family so much. His sense of humor was wonderful. He had the gift to make people smile and laugh. He restrung a couple of my Mom's necklaces so that I could wear them and remember her. He put great care into his work. I smiled when I read all of the postings. They all reflected the man I knew. I will miss my friend. I was hoping to speak to him when I Goggled his phone number and saw his obituary instead. Michael is a gem who was brighter than the gems he worked on. RIP my friend

I just learned of Michael's passing. I wanted to let you know how much I miss seeing him on my walks through the downtown tunnel. He always made me laugh when I would drop in for another piece of jewelry. I will always remember him from the first time I came to Allen Casperson Jewelry with my good friend Eyvonne. My condolences to you for your loss.

Michael is already missed by many who met him and those who heard of him. My condolences to the family. May God give you strength to face the days to come. I met Michael when I moved to Houston in 1987 and immediately found a friend. His laugh, sense of humor and love will be missed by many who had the honor to meet him. The service was beautiful and it showed how many lives he touched. Rest in Peace my friend and may God continue to surround the family with love and strength.

Diane and I were shocked to hear of Michael's passing. We remember when our two boys Marc and Harris used to play with Michael and Arron back in the '60 on Cheena and Scofield. Our love goes out to his entire family.

Needless to say I'm so shocked to hear of Michael's sudden passing. He was a good friend, witty & a wonderful jeweler. I always enjoyed going to the office for jewelry repairs, and loved the pieces he made for me. Condolences to his family. He was "one of a kind" and I will miss him a lot. Rest in peace, Michal.

My deepest condolences to Michael's family and friends. I was shocked to learn of his passing. I picked up a ring he had worked on just a month or so ago and as always, had a very nice and interesting discussion about jewelry. He teased me a bit because of my method of enlarging my rings - we had a good laugh about that one. He did a wonderful job with my ring and now when I wear it, I'll think of him. He will be missed.

Michael was always warm, upbeat, unbelievably kind, and genuinely creative in his work. We would talk about Meyer for hours and he was so positive and loving when he described his time with him.
This is such a tragic loss. Michael made me several gorgeous sets of gorgeous cuff-links which will remind me of him every time I put them on.

Michael was the first person I met outside of my own family when we were 4 years old. We experienced so much of life together, I will miss him terribly. Michael brought so many diverse people together. We will always remember his humor, kindness, and gentle spirit. My prayers go out to Michael's family.

Michael, I am so shocked. You will be missed! Your ability to make me laugh is what kept me coming to see you. Your skill in the jewelry business was secondary to the laughter you brought to my life. My husband and I loved your work; especially the pendant you created for me; the ring you re-styled for me and the pearl jewelry you created.
OUR CONDOLENCES go out to your SON (who you spoke of so lovingly and proudly); your FATHER (who you loved and learned from) and the rest of your family who will surely miss you.
MAY GOD BLESS THEM AND KEEP THEM STRONG. THEY MUST KNOW HOW MANY LIVES YOU TOUCHED AND HELPED WITH YOUR talent, charisma and charm. I will always remember you!

I am in shock. Michael has been a true friend to my family over the years. He was one of the best fathers I've ever known, too. We will really miss his sense of humor and willingness to always be there no matter how trivial the reason.
