Ronald Monheiser Obituary

RONALD EUGENE MONHEISER, 58, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2003 at his home in Houston. He was born August 21, 1944 in Sterling, Colorado. Preceded in death by his father, George John Monheiser and his father-in-law Dean Edwin St. Clair. Ron will always be remembered for the great fight he put up against battling cancer, his love for golf, and most of all the love he had for his family. Ron's career brought him to Houston where he was the Manager of Right of Way for Duke Energy. He was very involved in his career affiliations as well; Member and Co-Founder of the International Pipeline Committee, Member of the International Right of Way Association, and Member of the Southern Gas Association. Ron is survived by his wife Cheryl of 31 years; his children Cortney and Kevin Clover of Lake Jackson and Ty Monheiser and fiance Amy Hein of Dallas; his mother, Susan Monheiser of Sterling, Colorado; sisters Janice Lebsock, Mary Lou Kembel, and Marlene Curlee all of Sterling, Colorado; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Hardest of all for him to leave was his only grandchild, Kennedy Renee Clover, his "Precious Little Princess." Visitation will be held Monday, June 23, 2003 from 6 to 8pm with a Vigil beginning at 7pm at Klein Funeral Home in northwest Houston. Funeral mass takes place at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church of Houston with Father Creagan presiding. His ashes will be united with Cheryl's at the time of her death. In remembrance of Ron, his family respectfully suggests donations to MD Anderson Cancer Center, 1515 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77030-4009 or Houston Hospice, 5206 FM 1960W, Suite 104, Houston, TX 77069.

Cheryl and Family may God bless you in this time of sorrow. I will pray that God will see you through this. I will always remember Ron as a giving and caring person. I will really miss him.
